What is Olivem 1000?

Olivem 1000 is a plant-based emulsifier that makes your homemade facial products beautiful mixtures. An emulsifier helps mix water-based ingredients with oil-based ingredients, so you get a beautiful, smooth cream or lotion.

How do you use Olivem 1000?

For a serum : add 3% Olivem 1000

For a lotion or light cream : add 4-5% Olivem 1000

For a cream : add 6-8% Olivem 1000

To properly incorporate Olivem 1000 into your products, it is wise to also add a stabilizer to your product, such as 0.2% xanthan gum or 1-2% cetyl alcohol .

Store in a cool, dark and dry place and Olivem 1000 will last for about five years.
