Rosehip Oil is also known by the English name Rosehip Oil and is widely used for its strong pro-ageing properties. How is Rosehip Oil made?

Rosehips are the fruits of a rose bush and contain dozens of small white-yellow Rosehip oil seeds, from which a beautiful orange-colored oil is obtained. Although the orange color can be slightly yellower or redder depending on the pressing. The oil has a wonderfully earthy and warm scent. The refined version has a lighter color and is completely odorless. This oil is cold-pressed and unrefined, which means that no high temperatures are used during pressing. In this way, all the precious properties of the seeds remain intact.

How to use it

Apply Rosehip Oil to cleansed skin, so that the oil can be absorbed well. Massage a few drops into the skin until the oil is completely absorbed. The oil has an orange-red color and is therefore best used as a night cream. Do you want to use Rosehip Oil during the day? Then mix it with a base oil. Rosehip oil can be used for your face, but of course also for the rest of your body. In addition, it is also a delicious ingredient in a DIY Body Butter or Facial Serum.

You can also use the oil as a hair mask. Massage the oil through your hair and leave it for about 30 minutes. Then rinse your hair and use the shampoo and conditioner you normally use.

NB:

- Do not heat Rosehip Oil above 40 degrees. This oil is very heat sensitive and will oxidize at too high a temperature.
- Rosehip Oil has an orange-red color. Mix it with a light base oil to prevent an orange skin color (temporarily).
