| Fortunately, Sterre recovered quickly, but we were still very much afraid that this would happen again...
In 2019 my son Mats was born and he also has these complaints, fortunately not as bad as Sterre in her first months. When Mats was awake a lot for the umpteenth night and the nights were therefore much too short for me, I became overtired and in combination with Sterre and my work in Home Care this became a bit too much for me, to put it mildly.
I'm sure there are many mothers who recognize the whole picture. ;-)
I thought this was part of it, even though I didn't recognize this at all from our daughter. (not surprising, besides a baby there was now also a toddler walking around, still a difference).
Me in the proverbial mill, conversations with different doctors, physicians, friends and family, asked advice from other parents but everyone told me the same thing. "That's just the way it is", "that's part of it with a baby" and "just keep going", it will change by itself." Okay then, what clichés and no help at all. But okay: whatever, so ON that survival mode.

When I called my sister for the umpteenth time crying that I slept badly, remained restless and scared and could not let it go, she pointed me to the beautiful oils of Young Living, which she had discovered a few years earlier. My husband was skeptical, I was open to everything. I thought if it doesn't help, it doesn't hurt either, especially after I had read up on it and discovered that it was pure and 100% natural.
That evening we installed a diffuser in Mats' room with the sleep blend in it and without any expectations we went into the night...
Believe it or not, Mats slept through the night and because of that I slept like a baby! My husband remained skeptical, that's a lucky shot. We left the diffuser for a few more days and...
Wow, my first week of sleeping through the night was a fact! You get it: the diffuser never left.

As written, I work in home care.
I have been working in healthcare since I was 16 and I always say, I have a real caring heart. I like to help and care for other people so that they feel better, more comfortable and better.
My own experiences with Young Living products and my passion to help others had given rise to a new hobby: introducing friends and family to essential oils!
I enjoy the hobby. Really nice, giving away samples and people were really happy. But in my head I was stuck. Stuck in the area of the supporting effect of the oils, I lacked knowledge and yes, my sister also worked with these oils but has more companies that she also has to spend her time on.
But I wanted more! To know more, to discover more and to grow further in this to share this with others and let them experience it. It had helped us, and everyone has the right to that!
Luckily, there was my enterprising sister. She couldn't help me herself, but had heard of Bloomingblends.nl before. So I Googled Bloomingblends. What a surprise, particularly strong in guidance and already many brand partners under her. Huh what? Brand partners?

The contact with Blooming Blends was pleasant and full of advice. That was the moment I made the decision to buy the starter kit under the guise of "Oh, let's just try it and then we'll see." And Oh my ***! When that box finally arrived and was opened... Delicious! I immediately noticed that the oils smell very pure and have absolutely no synthetic after-odors that I sometimes smell with other oils. I had used something similar before, but it just gave me a headache and that is absolutely not the case with these oils. The pure stuff!
Since then it has become one of the fixed bedtime rituals for the children, who help fill and turn on their own diffuser friends. There is now also a diffuser in the living room and in our own bedroom. Yes, we now have four in the house. But it has not stopped at just diffusing. We use the oils in all kinds of areas. They are used daily on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. But not only the oils, we also use all the cleaning products without harmful stuff, the shower gel & shampoo, the facial care etc. We do not want anything else anymore.
In my environment family and friends saw me change and proudly and happily I told them that I feel a lot better about myself. Because of my enthusiasm I noticed that others also became enthusiastic and wanted to know more.
When I told this at home, I researched together with Dennis what exactly being a Brandpartner entails. Because my passion and interest kept growing, I decided to set up Olieblends.nl. And now I have officially been an entrepreneur since January 1, 2022. Wow, never thought of it but did it.
