Make your own essential oil-based reed diffuser. You will receive a set of three bamboo tops and 12 reed sticks, so you can make several reed diffusers. Ideal for your bathroom.
After a lot of experimenting with different recipes, my basic recipe (for a 10ml bottle) is as follows:
- Fill about 2/3 of your bottle with pure alcohol (96%)
- Add about 20 drops of your essential oils and stir with one of the sticks so that the essential oil and alcohol are mixed together.
- Fill the bottle with a neutral carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil, and mix well.
- Put on the bamboo ring and insert the reed sticks. After a few minutes you can turn the reed sticks around to spread the scent in the room.
The bamboo tops fit perfectly on your empty oil bottles of both 5ml and 15ml.
If you don't have your own bottles, you can order bottles in our webshop, such as the 5ml or the 10ml. The reed sticks can also be combined with the 30ml glass bottles. A 10ml bottle is used in the photo.
